When ordering tile, luxury vinyl plank, or hardwood, always retain one unopened carton as "attic stock". If plumbing leaks, dropped objects, or structural settling damage a few planks 3 years from now, replacement planks from later factory dye lots will rarely match the shade and gloss level of your existing floor.
